Start with condition and acceptance
List the items and describe their actual condition. A potential recipient may have rules about damage, stains, missing parts, size or particular categories. Confirm those rules directly instead of assuming that a usable item will be accepted.
Keep photos honest and show any damage. If a recipient declines an item, it still needs a separate plan. A donation appointment for selected furniture should not be treated as a promise to clear all remaining junk.
Confirm who carries and transports it
Some reuse arrangements involve collection; others require you to deliver or stage the items. Ask about stairs, inside carrying, disassembly and timing. Do not move something heavy outdoors until the recipient and collection arrangements are confirmed.
If an item needs specialist moving to remain usable, arrange that service explicitly. Piano or pool-table removal is different from preserving, transporting and setting up the item at another property.
When paid removal may be useful
Paid junk removal can help when a mixed load needs carrying and hauling, a cleanout deadline is approaching or some items have no confirmed recipient. Quick Haul reviews the complete item list, material and access before quoting approved removal.
Our service does not promise a charity destination, donation pickup partnership, resale proceeds or a tax receipt. If any of those outcomes matters to you, arrange and verify it directly before choosing ordinary hauling.
Separate the keep, reuse and removal lists
Label what stays, what has a confirmed recipient and what you authorize for removal. Keep important documents, valuables and personal belongings away from the junk pile. For an estate or shared household, settle those decisions with the authorized people before the appointment.
Photograph the final removal list, not an earlier version that still includes items being donated. Tell us if the scope changes so the quote and pickup plan can be reviewed.
Compare the actual work and cost
Ask each provider what is included and what you must do yourself. Quick Haul has a $75 minimum pickup, with normal carrying, loading, hauling and standard disposal included in the agreed scope. The final quote depends on the items, volume, weight and access.
Use our current pricing guide for starting amounts and send photos for confirmation. Same-day and next-day options depend on route availability; a request is not a reserved appointment.
Questions before you book
Will Quick Haul guarantee my furniture is donated?
No. A standard removal quote does not guarantee a donation destination or receipt. Arrange directly with a recipient when that outcome is essential.
Can I remove some items from the pickup list?
Tell us before the appointment which items no longer need removal. Send the updated list so the scope and quote can be confirmed.
