Identify the piano and the removal goal

Send clear photos of the entire piano, its approximate dimensions and any model information you have. Say whether it is an upright, console, spinet, grand or another style. Include the bench and any other items that should leave with it.

This is a removal-and-hauling request, not a specialist piano relocation, tuning or restoration service. If you want the instrument moved intact to another home or preserved for use, arrange an appropriate moving service rather than assume a disposal pickup includes that work.

Access is essential to acceptance

Show doorways, narrow turns, steps, stair landings, exterior paths and the parking location. Tell us whether the piano is upstairs or in a basement. Photos should show the whole route, not only the room where the instrument sits.

Do not attempt to tip, dismantle or move the piano yourself to make a quote easier. Unusual weight, stairs or a difficult exit may mean a pickup cannot be accepted or requires a different plan. We review that before booking.

Piano removal starting price

Piano removal starts at $245. This is a starting point, not a promise that every type or location can be handled at that amount. Weight, size, carrying distance, labor and any agreed dismantling affect the final quote.

The $75 minimum is not an extra charge added to a piano price. Normal labor, hauling and standard disposal are included in the agreed removal scope. See specialty item prices and request an individual estimate.

If reuse is still an option

If the instrument is playable, you may want to arrange a buyer or donation recipient before choosing paid removal. Confirm who will accept it and who will handle appropriate transport. A charity listing alone does not guarantee acceptance or pickup.

Quick Haul does not promise resale value, a donation receipt or preservation of the instrument. When the decision is removal, identify the authorized owner or contact and settle which items must remain before the appointment.

Questions before you book

Can every piano be collected?

No. Piano type, weight and access must be reviewed first. Send detailed photos so we can confirm acceptance and the removal plan.

Can a piano be part of an estate cleanout?

It can be reviewed with the rest of the job, but identify it separately because specialty handling can affect the quote and appointment.
