Couches, sectionals and sleeper sofas

Tell us whether you have a standard sofa, loveseat, reclining couch, sectional or sleeper sofa. A sectional needs a count of every piece, including the chaise and ottoman. A sleeper or powered recliner can require different handling from a similar-sized standard couch.

Photograph the front and side of each piece and identify any mechanism, loose component or damage that affects carrying. If other furniture is leaving with it, include everything in the same request so the estimate covers one combined pickup.

Planning an inside pickup

You do not need to move a heavy sofa outdoors to get a quote. Show the room, doorway, stair turns and path to available parking. Include the floor number, elevator arrangements and building access times for an apartment.

Tell us before booking if legs must be removed or a piece will not fit through the exit as assembled. We confirm any dismantling and extra labor in the scope. Keep belongings that stay separate from the approved removal items.

Couch removal starting prices

Our current starting prices are $125 for a standard sofa, $145 for a sleeper sofa and $245 for a sectional. These are starting prices with normal access and handling, not a guaranteed total for every piece.

Stairs, unusual weight, dismantling, long carries and additional items can affect the quote. The $75 minimum applies to the total visit and is not added to a $125 sofa pickup. Normal labor, hauling and standard disposal are included in the agreed scope. Compare current furniture prices.

Coordinate with your new furniture delivery

Send your delivery date and available pickup windows early. A request alone does not reserve a truck. We confirm the appointment after reviewing the items and route; same-day and next-day options depend on available space.

If the old couch is still usable, you can compare a separately arranged reuse or donation option before booking paid removal. Acceptance by a charity is not guaranteed, and our pickup does not promise a donation receipt.

Can you remove a couch from a basement?

Send photos of the couch, stairs and tight turns. We review the access and confirm whether the removal can be safely included before booking.

Can I add a mattress or dresser?

Yes. Include photos of every item when requesting the estimate. Multiple items receive a combined quote rather than an assumed single-sofa price.
